Las líneas y píxeles, horizontes expandidos en pentagramas de musicalidad, expresan una percepción en las variables  generadas con la aplicación sistemática del concepto, manteniendo su potencial geométrico creciente mediante algoritmos sucesivos hasta la consecución de la armonía de cada pentagrama de Geometría Digital.

Iluminada García Torres, pintora que lleva doce años investigando en una serie geométrica denominada El Hilo de Ariadna, fue la diseñadora seleccionada para conformar, con un centenar de obras de arte digital geometría (impresion digital sobre lienzo 90x180 cm each c/u), la colección Amérigo para la ornamentación de este hotel en Alicante, un cinco estrellas en la ciudad. Iluminada García-Torres estudió en la Academia Superior de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Madrid) y Universidad Complutense  fue discípula de Antonio López García. Entre los premios recibidos destaca  la selección continuada en el concurso de Pintura de L´Oreal Arte Contemporáneo, ser artista invitada para exponer en Gasworks Studios y Hortensia Gallery Kensington and Chelsea College, London, etc. Hace tres años realizó una rotunda escultura normativa en acero y bronce, para un espacio urbano en Elche, su ciudad natal. En sus comienzos pictóricos trabajó la pintura realista y metafísica, pero I. García-Torres evolucionó hacia un arte geométrico y combinatorio de color, líneas que traza de modo dinámico, con un solo gesto, manteniendo una proporcionalidad en el espacio del cuadrado, en una relación matemática y geométrica, de tiempo y luz. Era el punto final y de arranque al pintar la escultura de Ariadna, que se encuentra en la rotonda de cristales del Museo del Prado.

In the first course 1965-66, is the painter Antonio López García the teacher of ILUMINADA GARCIA TORRES and in 1969 Eusebio Sempere, year that reconciled the teaching with the research at the Computing Center of the Complutense University of Madrid.

Texts written by art critics of exhibitions made by ILUMINADA GARCIA TORRES (ELX 1949) of Geometric Art: Pictorial, Sculpture and DIGITAL that she started in 1991 with Geometry: COMBINABLES, TRAZADO ESPACIAL CONTINUO and THE THREAD OF ARIADNE-MUSIC formulating continuous mathematics and geometry for her work. Previously, she worked 25 years (1965-1990) in landscape painting, design of architectural compositions of geometry and in the two paintings (1986-88) that ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES made of the ARIADNE the marble sculpture in the MUSEUM of PRADO, MADRID (exhibition at the Galería Albatros, Madrid 1990).

This is the first time Iluminada's work will be seen in the UK. During her residency at Gasworks she has produced new works inspired by the Ariadne sculpture in Museo del Prado, in Madrid. I discovered that the harmony she invoked fitted perfectly a geometrical and mathematical reason.
Iluminada García-Torres seeks to achieve harmony through the expression of the moment, constituted by line-space-time within proportional relation with the square reticles. The singularity of each line is a step towards Light.
